Gracepoint Hsinchu was founded in September of 2007 by 10 team members from our founding church in Berkeley, CA. An eclectic bunch of PEIS, EECS, Cognitive Science, Anthropology and Chemical Engineering majors made up the team who picked up their roots and responded faithfully to God’s call to share the Gospel message with the people of Taiwan. Located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, right next to National Chiao Tung and Tsing Hua University, the church is a cozy group mainly made up of college student and young professionals.
After the initial plant, additional follow-up team members from America have come to help continue the work of the church. Through regular Friday Night bible studies through our campus group Koinonia, Sunday Worship Services at Mei Zhu Villa, and many fun outings, dinners, and activities we’ve been able to rub lives with many people and show them in concrete ways the love of God.
Our hope is to faithfully continue the work begun here and reach out and love the people God has placed around us, that they too may come to a knowledge of God’s love and restore their relationship with Him.
